The Full Frame Documentary Film Festival is the premier documentary
film festival in the country and has become one of the most important
festivals in the world. We pride ourselves on showcasing the newest
and best documentaries as well as welcoming talented filmmakers from
all over the globe. Full Frame has built a reputation for outstanding
programming, but has also made its mark by being one of the most
enjoyable and intimate festivals around.
Full Frame prides itself on creating an environment that celebrates
documentary filmmakers and provides them with a forum in which their
work can be seen and discussed.
We are proud to present the acclaimed
filmmaker, Mira Nair presenting and discussing The Battle Algiers, an
incredible film that has impacted her career.

Mira Nair presents Battle of Algiers directed by Gillo Pontecorvo
Pontecorvo's brilliant rendering of the Algerian guerrilla struggle
against the French colonialists in the 1950s. The restored print of
this memorable hybrid. There will be a discussion with Mira Nair
following the film.

Mira Nair will also be part of a panel discussion, Power of 10 Group.
This panel looks at independent and institutional online videos.
Featuring over a dozen independent videos that premiered online, Power
of 10 Group highlights the innovative and varied world of user
generated content, personal filmmaking that calls the Internet home.
The panel looks at the changing creative, legal, and business models
that are both exciting and baffling to a new community of documentary
filmmakers, whether independent or working for hire.
Tickets for both these events go on sale through our website on April
2.
Advance tickets
are $15 each. Day of show tickets are $10 each and are available as
soon as the Box Office opens on the day of the screening or program.
University students
with a valid ID can purchase Day of Show tickets for $8.
The Festival has reserved a limited number of Day of Show tickets for every
screening and program at Full Frame.
