Sangam Nite 2008: Taking the "Confused" out of American Born Confused Desi.

Doors open and dinner begins at 5:30 p.m.
Dinner will be catered by Royal India (for a nominal fee)
Curtains open at 6:30 p.m.
Follow our MCs as they travel to different parts of South Asia to
rediscover their heritage! As the lines between Western and Eastern
cultures become more blurred, cultural awareness, captivating
entertainment and a good laugh are only a few of the things you will
walk away with.
Come join us for a night of dance performances including Ek Taal, Tar
Heel Raas and Bhangra Elite as well as Carolina’s Sangam seniors! The
student band Aadat will be playing a mix of western and Hindi songs and
the sisters of Delta Phi Omega Inc. will be performing a spoken word
piece on South Asian domestic violence.
Student tickets ($7) will be on sale at UNC starting March 24th in the
Pit. General admission tickets ($10) VIP tickets ($15) are now available
for sale on our website at http://www.uncsangam.org/sangamnite General
admission tickets will also be available at the door the night of the
show for $10.
