Schools in Raleigh 1 Year, 8 Months ago
Hi All,

We are considering moving to raleigh from north east. I have been looking at wake county public schools and learnt that they have year round program. I kind of understand how it works but I am concerned about the 15 days off after 45 days of school during the school year. If both parents are working, what are the options available for the 15 days off time? Also is it true that the siblings invariably get assigned to different schools and attend them on different tracks?

Also how are the schools in chapel hill compared to wake county? I would greatly appreciate your inputs.

Thanks

Dear ums,

Please refer to Wake County Public School systems website www.wcpss.net, if you haven't done so already. FYI, you can always apply to magnet schools that fall within your node area which have a traditional calendar program as opposed to the year round.

You can get more info on Chapel Hill schools on Orange county website: http:// www.orange.k12.nc.us /

I am a Realtor in the RTP area. Call me if you need more info.
