Dear Friends,

I would like to introduce you to India Devlopment and
Relief Fund (IDRF, www.idrf.org) a voluntary, non-profit
developmental organization with projects spread all
over India. In over a decade, IDRF has raised over 16
million dollars in the US. Our projects are in the
fields of education, healthcare, tribal welfare,
women empowerment among other key aspects of
development. We are looking to expand IDRF in the
Triangle area and seek your active participation.

The IDRF team in the triangle plans to organize
events and other fundraisers and use those funds for
development projects in India. We are looking for
volunteers to be part of our team to help accomplish
this.

For example, we are considering organizing a Raksha Bandhan and Kite flying event for families with young kids to acquaint children with aspects of our culture. If you can help us or have ideas, we would love to hear from you. Not more than 1-2 hrs a week would be needed and we will work around your schedule.

I am sure many of us would like the opportunity to
help in India's development even if in a small way.
