We are moving from Illinois to NC in mid Jan and thinking about living in Raleigh and around areas.
My husband who is IT professional, will be working from home for another 6-8 months and he will be looking for jobs too. I am an electronics engineer, housewife right now, also will be looking for job in IT industry. We have a four year old son.

I wd really appreciate if anyone can help us in finding a good area to live. We are looking for:

Good Asian Indian community
Good schools
good hospital nearby
has park, library or other kids activity nearby
has grocery store , pharmacy etc in 10- 15 min drive
job opportunity

We are planning to rent an apartment or a small house. We will be in Raleigh and around to check the place during Chrismas. Which area we should look for, considering the above requirements?

For family with 4 year son to school, then the best place is Cary.

Do not ever move to Durham (or RTP), just because it's close to RTP. Wake County Schools (of Cary) are very good.

I am moving to Cary soon, is there any good apartments which you guys can recommend..prefer complexes/areas having indians & safe areas; Also do let me know any apartments good for a short stay before finding a long term apartment!
